Concorde having 4 Olympus 593's, with full reheat on each at take-off, got fined by the US authorities for breaking noise regulations every time she took-off.
The Olympus 593 with full reheat produces 34,000 lbf the J58 only 32,000lbf. Concorde has 4 engines the SR-71 has only 2. So Concorde was roughly twice as noisy! This is a 1960's pure gasturbine with reheat - it aint quiet!
