Air Condition

Gidday,
I am getting closer to completing the rebuilding of my +2.
Tweaked Zetec engine with EFI, T9 5 speed, 3.5 Diff and 14" wheels.
This will be my final resto job for me, a car thats suit my needs, one I can sprint or Hillclimb as well as travel briskly from a to B.
As a Dweller of South east Queensland, commonly known as 'Goszone" in the country of Australia, Gorgous one day superb the next. That is apart from Cyclones, Floods and bags of humidity. Now to combat the heat my mind turns to Air conditioning. While servicing my Wifes Mitsubishi Mairage I had a good look at there system that works so efficently. Skinny little intercooler, compact Compressor and the rest tucked under the miniscule dash.
I know this subject has come up before but the Systems are so compact and efficent these. Has anyone had dealings with the modern unit,
or maybe even fitted one.
I am keen for the polite input and advice of the Forum.
Les.
