Keep looking at google maps but distance doesn?t get any less
Lovely car.
Far away?
I have driven - literally - over a thousand miles on more than one occasion just to LOOK at a car.
Nowhere is 'far away' in the UK.

After nearly 3 years ownership it’s time for to offer this car up for the next custodian. When I get time I’ll create its own advert, but in meantime you can see detail in Jono’s thread here
Car has never let me down and took me 3 years to find such a good example. Garaged and never driven in wet in my ownership.
Car is based is in Evesham, Worcestershire - offers over £23,500 for straight forward sell.
PM me if interested.
Cheers Dave

Hi
What a great car. In the current market I would say it is very well priced indeed. If I was in the market for such a car I think I would have put a small deposit down and jumped in/on whatever transport was suitable immediately.
All the best
Berni

I cancelled it a few months ago Mark, as decided to retire a couple of years before being able to pull a pension, so thought it wise not to spend savings on these new fangled cars lol. I might have the Elan S4 DHC coming though

Great memories of this car - I would have bought it back were it not for the fact that I'm now restoring another!
I hope the new owner enjoys it and keeps us updated

Have you been given a date for your Emira, Mark?
I am in two minds about the car. However, a combination of brexit and the EU trying to clamp down on high capacity cars makes it difficult to justify one over my Evora, unless I take the Mercedes engined option (too under-powered)

Hello,
Everyone, I am the lucky person to buy Dave's wonderful Elan +2 and will endeavour to keep you up to date on developments. I have been a Lotus fanatic since the 70's but with a young family the opportunity to own a Lotus eluded me until about 2005 and the arrival of an Elise S1, then an S2 and now an Evora S which was a bit lonely until the arrival of a Caterham.
But the Elan +2 was the poster on my wall as a kid and I could quote you the road test stats from various sources, but just could not persuade my Dad to buy one. I have admired Dave's sunset picture of the Wedgwood Blue +2 for a few years, so this is wonderful adventure for me and am excited about picking it up next week.
And a thank you to Jono.. a great refurb and choice of colour!
Cheers
Alistair

Hi Dave,
Ha, I cancelled mine too…. I thought it was too heavy and also because of what Lotus were doing to the dealers. I’ll be joining you July 26 2023…
On another note I’m on the lookout for a Stag…. Hard to find a mint one, I want a tourer.
Cheers
Mark
