1969 Lotus Elan S4 for sale

I am happy to post my 1969 Lotus Elan S4 for sale.
The car has received numerous upgrades by the previous owner (alternator conversion, CV joints, stainless steel header and exhaust, and more) and during my time I have had the water pump, clutch, front and rear seals, front disks and bearings, and right rear hub carrier replaced. Most recently the head was refurbished with new valves and guides. Carbs rebuilt. Fresh belts. Radiator recently flushed and leak tested. Not the original engine, but it is running superbly. Compression numbers are 145, 150, 150, and 155. The car will come with numerous original and extra parts, tonneau and Technalon car cover, original steel wheels (two are out of round) and manuals, including Buckland's book and an extensive collection of receipts dating back to 1982.
The car presents well, with some stress cracking, chips and blisters (the car was last painted in 1984 and won first place at LOG IV, in the hands of the previous owner). The interior is clean and neat with the seats showing minor blemishes and one short tear. The dash top is somewhat misshapen (sun and heat exposure). Top and tonneau are in excellent condition. This car has been well taken care of by myself and the previous owner and has given me many pleasurable weekend miles.
The car is located in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, near Wilkes Barre and convenient to I-80 and I-81.
Please contact me through the list and I will be happy to send you much more information on the car and arrange for a visit. I'm asking $30k, negotiable
Cheers,
Will Zehring
