1964 Elan S1 "basket Case" project SOLD!
Posted: Tue Mar 21, 2017 3:37 pm[b][/b]I have available a 1964 Lotus Elan Series 1 Project car. Not complete. Probably best for parts or to build into a vintage race car. Has been off of the road, for over 30 years. Missing most of the trim.
Includes the following:
Has original ID plate and re-assignable NY registration, Chassis # 260665
Bodywork: main body, hood, trunk lid, doors, engine cover, front and rear bumpers, most paint is stripped, no headlight pods
Chassis: original chassis was painted a long time ago, should be stripped and repainted, has some rust
Most suspension: front uprights, wishbones, hubs, steering rack, rear uprights, hubs, Koni shocks, rear wishbones, axle shafts
Engine: Short block with steel crank and caps, which is rusty and frozen, has been sitting outside!
Has front covers
Transmission: used 4 speed trans, complete
Top bows and windshield frame, no side cantrails
Has some lights, including headlights and some tail lights
Misc: chrome heater intake grill, one interior side panel, 1 aluminum sill strip, speedo, dash top, dash top grill

Also available: 1973 Lotus Europa Twin Cam Special project, mostly complete, missing trans, needs complete restoration, has Big Valve Twin Cam engine, which is stuck, SOLD!
