Yes, I`m amazed. I had quite a number come to view the car, all knowledgable and enthusiastic, all seemed genuine, all impressed and thought the car better than described, as I intended. Around 3000 page views, 200 watching. I was convinced the car would reach the ?25k which still seems cheap to me. Surely it`s a perfect time of year for a bit of a winter project. I still can`t believe it.
It gets stranger; the winning bidder didn`t view the car and didn`t ask any questions and coming up to 7 hours later now, I still haven`t heard from him.
If he/she is a time waster, (a bit harsh I know, he may just be busy) I`m thinking that we should buy the car for that price, especially now I`ve effectively fulfilled any obligation to the seller. My glamorous assistant needs persuasion. Mmmmmmmmmm.

Jim......Buy it yourself, you know that you want to. Wait until your glamorous assistant is out, then slide it into the far end of the garage and put a cover over it. Put a few boxes on top of the cover as additional camoflage - be months before you are found out! (Don't ask me how I know but.....)
Cheers,

Well done Jim. I bet the vendor is pleased with the price.
As for the first "winner", I would report them to e-bay and possibly save someone else's time in the future.

Good for you!
eBay...last thing I sold on eBay the buyer complained about a very small mark on an impossible to find part, I offered a full refund less postage, they asked for a discount, I told them to send it back, but they wouldn't return it and then they posted neutral feedback...
