Good luck with the sell. It's quite cheap for such some upgrades, your car looks very nice. As I also live in France (near Lyon) I wish I had the opportunity to meet you and your gorgeous car. But my car, also a 71' FHC Sprint ils still under light restoration.
You should put it on carandclassic.co.uk
Vous allez la regretter !
Alex.

Sold!
The car will return to UK.
I hope the car will be able to get its old UK registration back?
I will advice the new owner to come to this forum to present himself

Hi Cedric,
I am here, the new owner of this beauty. I am just arranging for it to be transported back to a wet and windy, Warrington, U.K. And I will then start to really enjoy it through the spring and summer months.
Cedric has been an absolute star with the constant questions I was sending to him.
I am sure that I will have lots of questions over the next few months/years and look forward to contributing to the forum.
Thanks
James

Welcome to the wonderful world of Elan Ownership James.
Get yourself across to the Club Lotus meetings in Standish (the White Crow Pub) on the first Saturday of the month. Would be good to see this car in the flesh and of course meet you in the process.
Enjoy

Salut James
F?licitations !
A bit of a high-jack, but could be to interest of others: I'm planning to put my Plus 2 on the market. It's also located in France on French plates - what are the formalities (and difficulties) to get your new car (re-) registered in the UK ?
Thanks and enjoy your car !
Vernon
