Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

Hi All;

Commitments have subsided recently, so as one does I'm looking to complicate my life again. This time I'm looking to build a 'perfect' (to my use) Elan.

I'm looking to use a TTR 26R Chassis and Super lightweight body, so my ideal solution would be to buy a basket case Elan that I can salvage engine, gearbox, carbs etc from and have rebuilt.

Anything 1967 or older is a win for me as it will then be tax exempt in my country.

Already on to that one (however I understand that BHCC have such a fast turnover that managing to snag one of their cars is considered a feat in itself).
