Elan DHC Restoration Project

Thought I would list here first, before going the Ebay route.
1967 Elan FHC 36/6412 RHD for restoration. Mostly complete, as far as I can tell, but disassembled into major components. Clear title. All the major bits are there (carbs, suspension, gearbox, radiator), but can't swear all of the minor bits are there as I haven't done a complete inventory as yet. Knock off wheels with unusual reverse angled 3 eared spinners. New, undrilled, Lotus factory replacement chassis. My understanding is original chassis was scrapped due to rust in front turrets.
Engine block and cylinder head #'s match, but not sure if this is the original motor for the car as the engine # is not readable on the ID plate. Appears to have SE cams. Engine does not turn (I will pour some oil in the bores and try again later). Exhaust manifold bottom flange is broken off, but I have a used small bore stainless header for it.
Body has evidence of accident repair in nose (don't they all?) but no apparent repairs in rear.
I will post more photos as I get the components disinterred. Let me know if there are particular photos you want.
Asking $10,000. Car is located near Omaha, NE-USA.
A deal has been made to sell the car.

That's the correct engine for that unit number. Any idea of how this particular RHD Elan got to the USA?

I've made a deal to sell the car. Thanks for all of the interest.
As for questions about the car's history, I don't have a lot. I've owned it since 1998, having purchased it from a retired gentleman in Prescott Valley, AZ. As I recall he picked it up in southern California in about 1990 as a non running roller. No idea how or when it came to the states.

I'll let the new owner do the "reveal" (or not, as they choose) once the transaction is fully consummated.

Steve,
Neat car. I have just started restoration of my early FHC. It has never seen road salt, so hopefully, the chassis will not need major surgery..
I don't know how the Super Safety knock-on spinners got onto such an early car, but please pass my interest onto the new owner. I also own a Super Safety which has bolt-on wheels. I've given some thought about converting it to k-o wheels, but wanted a set of these spinners for the conversion. I already have the hubs.
