To unstick clutch:
Run engine to operating temp.
engine off, put in second gear
get 30 yards of runway ahead of you
start engine with a little throttle
there. you're unstuck
happens to my S3 all the time in a damp garage
sorry I can't join the bidding. already have 3. or is it 4 Loti.
Too bad. I am just below you in Palm Beach.
You might see what hayes will give you for the car.

since I posted on this, I realised that I had made a bit of an error........when I wrote about 'you have no conscience'......my intent was the generalised 'you' not the personal 'you'...I have edited the original post to change the 'you' to 'one' which it was meant to mean. apologies for any unintended misinterpretation.
having read the exchanges, I'm still with tony.....
the original ad on here did not state that the car was going on ebay in a couple of days if not sold, which I would have thought would have been fair warning.......
none of my business really........just trying to make general points about fair dealing, and DAYWBDB!
I'll shut up now......

I find all this interesting, bewildering and frustrating, l also have a conscious and must do what is right by folks.

What gets my goat, I decided to sell and list my 1967 S3 DHC project on this site only, because I have other Lotus cars including Elans but, honestly lost interest in finishing it as another interesting project requiring space put me over the edge.

I listed the car with many required new parts, a ready to assemble engine, professionally painted body "with or without", a "brand new, never on a body" Spyder chassis with full Chrome suspension, rear Spyder hubs, full Spyder roll bar, I asked only for what I had in the project. When finished a new owner would have had a great deal, judging by what they are selling for these days.

But, no comments, 2 requests for details that went nowhere.

Then I see in wanted section, for a Spyder chassis again, a bargain based on UK pound value, shipping etcetera, I sent 2 PM's, nothing.

Perhaps this site is for reading purpose only, time to move on, time perhaps to restore it myself as I was going to, then sell it for $35K+.

Ed, as long as we are good, I am good! Lotus friends are not the friends you want to lose.
