Hi All,
Lots of people looking for projects, but if anyone is after a well up together +2 , I have for sale a 1972 +2 S130, very much a standard
car apart from a few of the better mods which are not noticeable just looking at it. Lotus replacement galvanised chassis, changed in
1985 but still in excellent condition.Rebuilt Twin Cam engine ,only covered 400 miles , including rebore, pistons & rings, all new bearings,
valves, springs & guides, unleaded seats,cassette type water pump, electronic ignition ,complete new clutch.All new suspension, front & back, new bushes,
new diff mounts & bearings, CV driveshafts, new tyres & refurbed Revolution knock-on alloys. Interior is good ,new carpets & good headlining,
seats good. Bodyshell is in good condition, burgundy with gold metalflake roof, paint is reasonable for 40 years but is certainly not concours,
but I would be asking concours money if it was!
Jobs that could be undertaken are windscreen trim, if a decent trim can be found, bottom carpet trim on doorcards which I already have,
pedalbox is showing signs of surface rust, & nearside rear wheelbearing sounds a little dry.
I have had the car for five & a half years, & previous owner had it 19 years, it was dry stored & unused for 16 of the 19years,but has been Mot,d for 4 of the years of my ownership, up until June 2012 & is currently Sorn.
I,m asking ?9250 for it , which as most people on the forum will know almost half of that can be spent just on the engine rebuild.
Any interested parties please PM me as I never have any success with photos on the forum ,I find it easier to e-Mail them.
