Lotus Elan

Pistachio Green

PostPost by: NicolasP » Sun Nov 17, 2024 8:02 am

Hello evrybody,
Can anyone tell me when the pistachio green colour was used on the Elan?

I am restoring my father’s lotus and I found traces of pistachio green under the current dark green color, the car is from August 1967, can it be possible?

Thanks for your help :D

I pretty much typed in your statement “when was pistachio green used on the Elan“ and a bunch of things come up, but one of the remarks said that it was only used in 71 and 72, Gordon

According to the Robinshaw & Ross book on the Elan, Pistachio Green was introduced in October 1970.
