The second picture (top view of Elan on gravel) is Great !!! Would you send me a high Res file ?
Regarding the toughness, I was doing the Costa Brava Historic in the S3 DHC, and there were a few unpaved stretches, and one with gravel, unknown to the organisation, a freshly tarred street. All done with no problems, the standard soft suspension copes well.
But I did find gravel at many unsuspecting places. And a few chips in the rear lower half. But it was fun.
