Silly question, can the lights ( side and main beam) be switched on and become illuminated, without the ignition being switched on?
I've been "messing" behind the dashboard, converting the RCi tacho, fixing a few loose connections and can't remember if the above is the case ?
Replies greatfully received,
Cheers,
Phil

Coincidence - I've just put my (S4) tacho back in today after converting it using the clocks4classics PCB kit. I now have a stiff neck due to having my head in the footwell for most of the afternoon.
The lighting switch is independent to the ignition circuit so yes, the lights do work with the ignition off. Your gauge lamps switch should also work with ignition off/lights on.
