Fitting rebuilt engine

The rebuilt motor needs to go back into S4. Which accessories should I leave off that would make kit easier to get mated to gearbox ?.?.. (oil pump, engine mounts, fuel pump, distributor) carbs or course fitted later.

Thanks
James

Remember to put the manifolds in Engine Bay tied to the side.

Everything you mentioned, except the carbs, should be on. They're difficult to install after the
engine is in.

Greg,
I don`t agree. The carbs are vulnerable when slinging the engine. It is not so difficult to fit them with the engine in place. I have had mine on and off many times with no serious problems and you get better access to the engine mounts. Just some care needed.

Eric, sorry I wasn't clear. Yes, carbs should be off.

Yes, I see now.
I read it as what to leave off.
