Inner tie rods question.

I had my steering rack rebuilt by Kiley Clinton, but it is much too long (wide). I'm guessing the inner tie rods are too long.
They were carried over from the rack I sent them (I thought it was from a Sprint, but evidently it wasn't!) and I guess not checked. It may have Herald or other rods.
So question!
Are +2 tie rods the same as a Sprint if you remove the extension?
Are tie rods for a sprint available?
I see TT have some but they don't say what they are for and are very expensive, about half the price of a new rack from SC parts.

Any other solutions would be appreciated!
Thanks

It seems +2 and Sprint inner rods are the same.

If anyone has a rack apart at the moment, please could you let me know the length of one of the rods?
I just want to confirm it isn't the rack bar that's too long.

Cheers

The Lotus track rods are approx 1" shorter than the Triumph ones 6" Vs 7" ) .... Brian Buckland's book has the exact dimensions .... so a Herald rack assembly would be around 2" too long overall to fit the Elan. Don't forget also that the Elan rack should have lock limiting spacers and these will not be present if your rack is from a Triumph Herald. Again the dimensions of the spacers can be found in B.B's book.

You can add steering limiters later, if needed. This is what I did, as I run (ultra-wide) 155 tires on my S3, which kept rubbing the sway bar.

Cheers all.
I found a pair of S4 arms so I will keep the rack I have which has the correct spacers /stops.
