Hi to all,
Just on the off chance,I wanted to ask if anyone knew of the above car, which was a Tawny over white fhc 1973 Sprint. The car was local to the London area between Feb 73 and Aug 75,when it was sold and exported to the USA.I recently repatriated the car to the UK,and am trying to gain any information I can.It was sold new by the London Sportscar centre.Any information would be much appreciated.
Many thanks,Roy.

Bonjour Roy
I hope you have some luck with it's history.
Have you made progress with the other Sprint in the Averyon/Rodez.
Cheers
Alan

Hi Roy and welcome.

Please let me know the VIN as I may well have something under that in my private register. I have nothing though for that old registration.

Tim

Hi Alan and Tim,
Many thanks for responding both.Alan, the Sprint 5 was almost finished in April just some assembly and the engine to go back in,so is 90% there, then I had this stupid idea to build a new workshop/garage,and this started in March of this year, and is slow progress, but it is quite big,and in stone.I have attached 2 photos of the Sprint 5,but not touched it since April.
Tim,this is the car that Tony Vaccarro sold me last year, and had a long thread on lotuselan.net about being mixed up with the Ex Graham Hill S3,if you recall. The vin is 73010626E.I know the original registration mark, and am currently trying to get it transferred to the car by DVLA,and is it somewhat challenging, shall we say.I have the bill of sale from what I believe to be the second owner in Aug 75,which records both the vin number and the registration number, but this may not be enough for the DVLA to reallocate the original number, hence the longshot of trying her to see if any further information can be found. All help greatly appreciated.
Roy.
