If you are interested in this car, I would recommend a pre purchase inspection by a knowledgable shop. Beverly Hills Car Club is not in Beverly Hills and it's not a car club. Buyer beware.

Not known for selling cheap. Look at what he asks for project cars. Yes please inspect.

A pre airflow Coupe with a Stromberg hood, no engine or interior pics, no serial number given. As Dan suggested, have an Elan savvy person look at it.

if it wasn't registered until 68, in the USA. Would it require the stromberg?

Lots more photos available in the description. There seems to be much to like in this car. Spyder chassis maybe? Dash is all custom, extra gauges, piano-hinged glove box. Stromberg bonnet as mentioned. I know the worries about BHCC but, as the owner of an Elan close to this one it looks quite appealing to me and the price seems decent. Of course, if the motor was bad, for example, the math changes.

I wouldn't touch it especially at that price. The company has a track record , in particular an Alfa 105 Giulia Coupe a few years ago. No Matter how good or bad it is, I'd find it impossible to deal with someone after that Alfa episode. It's on the Alfa BB for everyone to read .
Why no underbonnet pics ?
There are plenty more out there.

Like all have suggested, do have the car gone over by someone knowlegable.....I spent a few weeks going back and forth with them about a project Elan.....it was clear they knew nothing about the car, and were seemingly unconcerned. I suspect they count on people just coming in and buying on impulse.....be afraid.....be very afraid.....
