Please excuse little minutia about a topic of surviving Elan Sprints in the USA. Warning : I know little just guesstimates.

Just curious about an estimate of Elan Sprints numbers in the USA existing. From a quick survey of web info production of Elan Sprints was about 1353.

About 31% went to the USA or roughly 400 Elan Sprints.

I would guess maybe 50% survived.

Therefore very rough estimate of 200 Elan Sprints remain in USA? Am I in the ball park?

I have a Elan Sprint painted in Pistachio. So according the the factory color records 10% were painted Pistachio. So maybe 20 Pistachio Sprints are in the USA -minus repaint so estimate less than a dozen Pistachio.

Red and yellow more popular.

The remaining 4% are non-Sprint colours, used on the S4/Sprints

Seems a better estimate is 25% of Lotus production went to USA.

'Again in the same article Chapman says “roughly half our production is for the home market, a quarter Europe and a quarter America.”

From my records around 41% of total Sprint production are what we might term 'live', so on the road, in restoration, stored or otherwise known about.
