Geni - I have a crown wheel and pinion in my differential that is a ratio of 3:1. AV is Alan Voigts who's is mending my gearbox. D

Hi all. I bought a Voights T9 box back in around 2005 and fitted it to my old +2. I had a few problems with the fit but they were all of my making. I collected the box in person and Alan was great. He took me to a large garage where he had a few lotuses stashed. I really enjoyed meeting him and the box was really easy to fit - issues turned out to be down to my lack of experience. I am seriously considering getting one for my current +2, but the lotus 5 speed box that I have in the current car has been put together with heavy duty bearings which apparently overcome the issues that plagued that box. So I'm holding off on that decision for the time being. Very tempting to get the T9 though.
