Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

HI all,

I've wanted to own an Elan for many years now, but have never actually gotten the chance to drive one. I'm at a point where I am considering actually trying to find one to buy, but would love to have some seat time in one before I make that decision.

Is there anyone in the SF Bay Area that has an Elan that would be willing to let me drive it, or at least ride along in it? I'd be looking preferably at an S1 or S2, but any will do, really. I'd offer exchange of driving my Lancia Fulvia, but it's in poor driving shape at the moment. I also have a Miata, but I know how Elan people feel about those

Hi, Patrick. Come over to my little Lotus hobby shop in El Sobrante. Certain some of the lads can provide you a ride/drive. We do lunch on Weds and Sats for past 20 years. You might like a ride/drive in one of my Elites, too.
