my car is 45/6375. A question if you have a moment:
partition between boot and cockpit. Did you fabricate yours out of fiberglass? if not... what material? I have to make a new one (i refer to 31 sec mark of 2nd video)
Thanks

Hello Gentry,
to answer your second question first, yes the partition you are asking about was fabricated out of Fiberglass.
My friend who did all the body repair work is a specialist and he found it to be the easiest thing to do, the original was in pretty poor shape as with just about everything on the car!
For your first question, there are lots of small things that I found that I could have done better.
Some things you don't know, such as ordering parts that you end up not using because they are inferior or not as expected.
My advice there is to buy from a reputable source even if it's a bit dearer.
I would chase the quality not the price.
Also finding the right people to trust to do the jobs you want is a bit of a trick, I would suggest writing clear instructions as to what you want completed on your job and make sure the people doing the job understand it, then cross your fingers and hope that they pass that information on to whoever is actually doing the job.
Anyhow, I wish you the very best on your adventure of getting your Elan together, please post a picture or two.
Regards
Paul
