This part number list that I found is very useful for looking up old Ford part numbers for bolts, nut, washers, O-rings, etc. in order to determine their size for alternate sourcing.

For your reference.

Headed up "Fordson Dextra Tractor Parts List".

Doesn't seem quite right, somehow!

Yes it's from an old parts list for Ford Tractors. Ford were into platform and parts sharing across multiple product lines for cost saving long before it became fashionable.

The part numbers you find here for standard hardware such as bolts, washers, etc. are the same as what you'll find listed in the part lists for Ford's car lines. The car part manuals however usually only list the part numbers and not further details such as thread type, thread length etc. which is very handy information to have. This list even gives a decoder for the type of finish, plating, etc. on the fasteners (handy for concourse fanatics). The Ford based parts used in Lotus Elans all used these fasteners.
