it looks like this site was still on about a year ago, judging from that May 2019 backup - I'm not sure who had been paying for it (and exploiting it) since Tim's untimely death ten years ago... contact was ast listed as [email protected]

My God! Such a resource! Can't believe that the Elan fraternity would let this get away. I referenced it not that long ago. Didn't realize it had an impending doom.

The excellent pictures of Harrison's unrestored car. Under Originality. Details are what I wanted for reference. In the way back link they are not coming up. Specifically details of door seals at this time.

I have the app for the Type 26 registry on my iPad, but when I tap it now it opens in what looks like a Chinese porn site :shock:

. I didn't look though, ....no honestly I really didn't :oops:

I pulled everything from the wayback machine and copied it to elanregistry.org under Stories. It's incomplete and missing many of the photos. If there is a better archive out there or if anyone has any contact information for Charles, let me know. I'm happy to host the information.

Well??? I went onto the elanregistry.org/stories site and had a look at the Archive Type 26 site and picked out the Lotus News archive update list and, guess what?, each one on the list is the Chinese porn site again :shock:

Is it me? Or has the site been hacked. What is going on????

Jim, you seem to have captured the vast majority of the pages & pictures. Perhaps the original suppliers of materials (e.g. Derek Harrison) would re-supply their pictures etc?

I assume thr register has stopped manufacturing any parts?

I did a little web sleuthing and it appears the domain registration expired 9 JUL 2020, was held for renewal until 19 AUG 2020, and was grabbed by a Chinese company on 26 SEP 2020

I contacted the last web host via chat and since it's been more than 30 days since the registration lapsed, they don't have a backup.
