Sprint manufactured date

Hi,

I have a '73 Sprint 0658E - I wondered how late this was for a FHC - reading Robinshaw and Ross's book - "The Original Lotus Elan" - it would appear to be one of the last 10 FHC's made - Does anyone know better?

I suggest your Sprint 0658E is the 8th from last FHC on the basis that mine 0634E is the 32nd from last. Jim

John, your Sprint was built in mid Feb 73.

The final E type, Domestic FHC Sprint was Unit No. 0665, which was built in late Feb 73.
