Plus one to the above. My original 69 S4 has the shorter boot handle as from the factory (July, 1969 delivery). I understand the short handles to be difficult to find.

Thanks for all the replies keep them coming, I think my first task on the car will be to to refurbish the seats, the foam and serpentine springs will need attention, the vinyl seems very good condition which is a plus. I’ve learnt my first new word today gabion clips they are the ferrule type part that holds the serpentine springs together, I’ve tried to get in touch with Lionel to order a wheel widget but no reply as yet, is he still producing them

~Maybe keep that HALON fire extinguisher!
Even better if you can see if it still has pressure, you can't buy them anymore (Banned - they destroy the ozone layer) but they are superior to powder extinguishers (I have used both in anger unfortunately over the years -aircraft).

Definitely buy a back up.
