We have started today to restore SAR 57D white S3 drophead
Peter Sellers was the first owner,

I will post pictures as the restoration progresses,

Keep us posted, it should inspire me to get on with mine... A great car with some memorable pictures taken with Sellers 'gooning' around in it. I remember test driving that very car at Hunter Classics many moons ago, probably mid 1980's, went around a corner, the battery fell off its perch and disconnected itself. Still should have bought it, from memory it was around ?6K for a very slightly scruffy but original up and running car.

I dont know about you but at my age she still looks Ok and can jump out of my Elan anytime
