Bourne body identification label in boot

I was working in the boot yesterday (cutting out a hole in the boot carpet for the fuel filler pipe) and saw the Bourne body label glassed into the left area of the boot. I had noticed this while I was rebuilding the car but hadn't really paid attention to it. This time I was more curious. How many labels did Bourne put on their Elan body's? Are there other locations? (Besides the metal plate on the firewall).

Glen, it might be worthwhile attempting to reach Charles Giles at the Type 26 Register and asking him about it. I have not seen one before.

It's possible there is one in this factory photo, what do you think?

Thanks David and Tim. Yes Tim, it does look like a label is bonded into the boot wall on the old factory photo. David, it's interesting that you have two Bourne body cars and no label in the boot. I'll reach out to Charles and see what he says.
