Vapour blasted?

I was paranoid about getting the beads inside so i had mine Soda blasted then Ultrasonic cleaned, i didn't get the semi gloss look of Vapour blasting but still looked like new.

Look great. I've never seen those kind of top cover fixings on a Weber before.

Looks really clean. May I know the steps you did to make them look good again.

The carbs underwent a complete strip down , the bodies tops etc were then cleaned in decarboniser then taken for vapour blasting. All mild steel items were bead blasted and zinc coated , the jets etc were ultrasonic cl leaned , shaft checked for straightness then all reffitted with new bearings and gaskets etc . The pictures show temporary top screws , waiting for originals to come back from platers I was quoted ?39 for complete new set thanks but no thanks
