Speaking of blue Elans, this silver blue S2 I’ll be assembling for a friend and plan to cover on here, is painted in Emma Peel colours.

Is that the place that advertises in the magazine called Ransomes? Looks like you are having a bit more work done than just 'tinkering'. What are you having done?

hats actually my friends barn so (hence I cut 2/3rds of the picture out.). its a wonderfull building, and he kindly let me borrow some space for the sprint whilst i build my new home and garage complex .. . Its filled with some really nice cars... ...
the engine and gearbox i removed and it has been rebuilt to a nice fast road spec @150 bhp.. its a thing of beauty.... ive replaed, rebuilt all the front suspension, just got the rear to do with new driveshafts, drop in the engine and were good to go..
the car was painted blue back in 1986 i do not have a receipt but
i need to get a colour match so wil get this over the next week or so by being scanned at my paintshop.

nice colour and gives it the look of a +2S130 but a lot more nimble

Here's my Series 4 SE FHC.
It's interesting that it has also been posted on page 1 of this thread, presumably found on a Google search.
As far as I can tell it is Royal Blue; I need to do some minor bodywork at some point soon so I guess I will find out when I order some paint

Wow beautiful pics of blue Elans. I love the Medici blue. Now, about the Emma Peel colours...I thought Emma Peel was more a kind of beige on the bottom and brown on top...?
