Rotoflex bolts from Namrick

Looks like it was a good moment to change :) .
Before fitting the rotoflex i remove the band and put 3 jubilee clips(joined) around outside to compress and aligne the bolt holes. I use an old brake disc to check position of holes and adjust clips.

Fastenal's products are good. We use them in our facility on pressure vessels. The custom products are domestic. It is up to you to specify what grade you want.
There is no cure for Lotus, only treatment.

What position was the bolt fitted :?: I would check to see if the holes in the diff output shaft are still round if that's where it was. On a +2S i had a bolt that had worn a hole oval in a diff output shaft, i had to buy another output shaft :( . When i used to drive the car there was a clicking sound :shock:

I wimped out and paid a friendly Lotus garage (GST Performance in Newmarket) to change the donuts for me as I didn't fancy a day on my back lying under the car in the garage. It's so much quicker when you can lift the car up. I still do need to replace one output shaft but that was on the other side, the hole was not too bad but the whole lobe which rubs against the donut was worn...

That looks like an incorrect bolt, judging by the picture the threaded portion of the bolt has too many threads and the shank (unthreaded part) too short.

The marks near the head are not threads just marks in the shaft, probably form the bolt rotating..
