Looking for Elan shell and/or Gary Anderson

Hi all. I'm Tom in Connecticut and I've posted very occasionally about my project car, an S4SE coupe converted to roadster by a PO and now using a BDG / BW T5 drivetrain. I hope to post a summary of the long term (11 year!) rebuild of this project when it is finally running I hope this summer. I'm an engineer so I guess I'm more interested in designing / building than driving...

In the process of this rebuild I have accumulated enough spares to build up an entire BDA / T5 chassis with all the suspension bits. I need only a body shell with lights and interior to make a complete car.

Might anyone have a lead on a body shell or project car, coupe or roadster, that might serve this purpose? Preferably something already modified or with metal bits so far gone that it doesn't make sense to restore to original.

Also, some will remember Gary Anderson who frequented the forum maybe 6-7 years ago. He had a number of shells / projects and was nearby. Does anyone know his current whereabouts or have contact info?

Thanks! TomR

I'm sure you can get Gary's email from any of those guys in MA, like Russ (CBUEB1771) or Andrew Bodge

Out of interest, why doesn't Gary
post anymore. I used to like seeing and reading about his home Reston.

Cheers
Mark

Unfortunately he had a bit of a breakdown and got over-obsessive about this forum and seemingly wanted to rule the roost. He was encouraged to take a break from the forum for say 6 months or a year, which he did, but he never came back.

That's a shame to hear. I too enjoyed his posts.

I wish him well.

Hi Tom, Geoff From Danbury Ct responding. I am new to Forum, not quite sure how to Navigate yet. I have owned a Ton of Elan over the years and have some for sale, all need some sort of finishing. I do have two S4 roadster Projects that may be of interest. GeoffH

Hi Geoff
Welcome to the forum. I visited your shop about 3 years ago and remember about four separate project cars for sale including a '67 Elan Super safety. You should post your inventory here. I'm sure there will be much interest. By the way, how is that Shelby project coming along?
Chris Herr :)

Hi Chris, I should post them at some point, but I am so busy with projects that should have been finished long ago, including the Shelby, I just don't have the time right now to market them properly.. I just collect parts, get help where I can and pick away at them. The Shelby, I need to get back on this summer, but the body is in 3rd prime, so it is coming along nicely, just not fast.
