Looking for recommended sources from those who have purchased a crash pad for an S3 in the past year or so. Willing to consider all fiberglass replicas as well, but prefer the original foam backed type.

I have one which came from Frank at Sports Car World, Evant Texas 20+ years ago. Originally for a friend's DHC, but I inherited it many years ago, and now it will go into my pre-airflo coupe. I have the car pretty well stripped now and just now have the screen out and the old crash pad out. It was pretty nasty back in the early 80s when I was running the car as a summer daily driver.

I know SCW was closed after Frank died and I don't know what happened to the thermo-form mold, but I know someone bought all Franks stock and I suppose the tooling. The piece I have looks very well made and it looks like it will fit well. Does anyone else know where this tooling is?

Roger
