Hi
Sorry if a simple task but not long had my plus 2 and need to clean my chrome wheel trims.
How do they come off? as worried about using excessive force.
Thanks

If they're anything like mine they are held on with "teeth" and removing them scratches the paint...

I don't mean to be patronizing, but are you talking about actual wheel trims? The 'S' black steel wheels have chromed rims which are part of the actual wheels.
I'm sure you are talking about rim trims, but had to ask

Mine, like John's, have lots of teeth and are on very tight. I won't be taking them off until I'm ready to repaint my wheels.

If you really want to remove them, gently pry with a flat screwdriver all around the circumference a little at a time. It might take a while. You will still likely take off paint but the trim ring might survive. :)

Yes, just lever them off with a screw driver, they soon just flick off without being damaged. The teeth will have marked the wheel rim but that`s what they cover.
