Elan S2 body that was on ebay ended yesterday. Who bought it

A nice looking S2 roadster body + doors and boot lid finished auction last night. Hopefully someone on this forum has bought it and will buy up the engine and headlamp pods that are being sold off today, chassis to be offered soon it says. Was in new Jersey. I guess this is a true basket case.

I thought the seller said the engine was from a Sprint and the headlamp pods from a later car so the seller must just strip cars?

I read that the seller had bought the project as a donor Weber engine, but had then decided to keep the original engine in the Sprint w/ its Stromberg carbs. I don't understand the mindset of someone who is quite intent on parting out a perfectly legitimate project car. They aren't making any new ones, well not really.
I didn't see that it didn't make reserve!
