Mucky in Shropshire

We left Foolow in sunshine yesterday lunchtime for Shrewsbury, returned today to more glorious sunshine. Unfortunately, in between it was less than sunny and the people of Shropshire don`t keep their roads very clean.
Still, it was salt free and I`d rather use it and wash it than just park it. Wouldn`t you?

I thought I saw another Elan in the garage, a red one. Multi Elans and a golden retriever. I understand !

Two roadsters Jim. Wasn't you tempted to own a fixed head? Both your cars look great. Jim Estall.

Certainly not. Never, in even torrential rain, have I ever wished I had a fixed head. How many times on lovely days, which is when most people drive their Elans, have fixed head owners longed for some wind in their hair? Are they all bald?
Jim
P.S. FHCs look prettier, I agree.

Probably accounts for why many fixed heads have been converted. Jim

Lovely to see the Elans!

I'm in Shropshire - we must meet?

Only one farmer / grower in Shropshire - he did ?20m in lettuice last year for Tesco - so he's not bothered about how he leaves the local roads in such a terrible state!

He uses his helicopter to commute!

Its official - we do have the worst roads in the UK here in Shropshire!

As someone living in Kent, I shall see your crap roads and raise you 10x in unrepaired potholes

At least you guys don't have to put up with London roads and speed humps along with 20 mph limits now on some major roads! Not only causing environmental damage/pollution but spoiling the driving experience. Richard - I have to head your way to exercise my cars properly. Jim Estall.

You know the roads are bad when the other half rings to tell you both nearside tyres are split, through hitting a pothole - ?600 in new low profile tyres!

I'll raise you 6 blocked roadside ditches, 4 missing roadsigns and 3 tonne of un-spread road salt !

Kent isn't in the same quagmire.
