Merry Christmas !

PostPost by: Certified Lotus » Fri Dec 16, 2016 11:23 am

I needed a new idea for our family Christmas card we send out each year and thought to put my two sons into the Elan as well as photograph them in my shop. Turned out just fine and I think provides the right spirit for the holidays.

Merry Christmas everyone!

"...put my two sons into the Elan..." but that's about as far as you'd go, right??? Wouldn't let them actually "drive" it, now would you??

Happy Holidays!

Good photos, Glen. Happy holidays to all. I suspect your son has the wrong tool for the front indicator of the Europa.

Merry Christmas to all and especially to Glen and his family. I have a nice Christmas present from LOG 36 under the tree right now. And Nuts to you all who say it isn't right to gift oneself!

You ought to be proud of those two Glen -they are fine young men and talented too!

Thanks to all for your Christmas spirit and kind remarks. Yes, I have allowed the boys to drive the Elan many times. They watched me (and helped a few times) rebuild the car up close and personal recognizing the level of commitment it took to do so. They feel honored that I allow them to drive a piece of Lotus history and that I trust them to take responsibility.

Ross, I have had a Christmas tradition for as long as I can remember, for every two gifts I give to someone else.......I acquire one for me. Glad you got yourself a gift from LOG36. I smiled at that comment.
