Original Jack Top Plate Dimensions Required

Hi All,

I plan to machine a new top plate out of some 8mm aluminium plate that I have and drill & bolt this to a scissor jack Could anybody who has an original jack give me the dimensions of the top plate. i.e. length, width inside and outside dimensions height of upstand lip.

I know I can measure the fibreglass stiffened section of the body to get the dimension, but thought I'd ask here in case anybody has 1 to hand and it will cut out the guesswork as the body tapers to a smooth section.

Thanks in Advance

I FOUND THIS ON THIS SITE W FEW MONTHS AGO:
As for the cradle part it's basically just a trough 173mm long x 50mm wide at the bottom opening up to 60mm at the top. Sides are 15mm deep and the material is 2mm thick. It's secured to the jack platform by a large countersunk rivet which allows rotation. There is a peg welded to one side 8mm dia x 45mm long and this is to limit rotation so that the jack cannot end up at right angles to the car where it could tip up at full height.
