Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

My elan s3 fhc had the remains of a fibreglass attachment to the rear of the left hand rear bulkhead, which I have now removed leaving just the fixing holes, as can be seen on the attached photo. It also continued partly under the floor.
Can anyone tell me if this was an original part that needs to be replaced, & if so what it should look like ?
If not I will just fill the holes to make it watertight.
Any info would be gratefully received.

Looks like your Elan had a factory fitted diff air scoop, they usually get torn off over the years. I think Susan Miller has replacements.
