We should do a day out in the Moors this summer! There are at least 5-6 Elans and +2s in our area.

Absolutely! You must come over for lunch. Hopefully the Elite will be back soon.

Looks great. Thanks for sharing the photo. Is the road normally quiet like that?

A lot of the roads through the North Yorkshire Moors are often completely empty on weekdays, and even on weekends. Most people tend to take the more direct routes, leaving these small twisty roads to those of us who aren't in a rush. Absolutely beautiful countryside too. I have a favourite route I usually take, but the last time, I took a wrong turn and ended up going an even better way!

If you're interested in other classics, my father in law also lives in Ilkley, and has a '64 FIA Cobra and a very interesting '56 AC Ace. I know he'd absolutely love to see the Elite. He really wanted to buy one before they jumped in prices a few years ago.

That sounds great. Perhaps we can organise something this month?

I envy you for having those empty twisty roads. Sounds like you can't really take a wrong turn. :D
