Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

Hello, I'm trying to start a blog about classic European cars, and I would love to write up a post about what it's like to own and drive an early Lotus Elan. Since the cars are 50 years old now I realize that there is plenty of information out there about them but I like the personal touch of hearing directly from owners about their own experiences with their car. It would simply involve a few questions about their car and ownership experience over email. If there are any Elan owners willing to send a couple emails back and forth with me in this vein I would be most appreciative!

I'd be happy to supply anything I can. I've had my Elan S2 since purchased new in February, 1966.

I bought my 1st Elan in 1974, 7 years old at the time. I still have that car and have two others as well as a couple of vintage Lotus race cars. Lots of things have changed over the years for an Elan owner who maintains and rebuilds his own Elan. I'd be happy to contribute.
