Rough Elan seen in Ann Arbor Michigan
Posted: Mon Aug 31, 2015 1:56 pmMy wife was at a stop light this morning next to a green Elan on a trailer in Ann Arbor. She said it looked like it was headed off for restoration and was British racing green of some sort (too dirty to say for sure).
Does this belong to anyone on the list?
It was kind of cool to hear since my Elan moved under its own power Saturday for the first time in a few years. I got the new hub and hub shaft on and it goes. Now to check out all the little things that may not be quite right from sitting for years and having the engine pulled while I tried to fix what I thought was a slipping clutch.
I plan to make it to the car gathering Saturday at the Warehouse in Ypsilanti Saturday with it.
