painting wheels

PostPost by: twincamman » Wed Jul 15, 2015 5:39 am

I have noted requests for wheels with non ovalled post holes . I dont know how many know this but when you paint wheels you must remove the paint from the sealing part of the steel where the contact patch of the bolt or knock on meets the steel. If you dont the nut wont exchange the steel to lock on the wheel and it will back off . this will cause a lost wheel on a bolt on wheel and a loose knock on causing the wheel to rack against the post oveling it ?so just use some sand paper to remove the paint on the seating part of the wheel and nut ..just a hard learned lesson to pass on??... take it or leave it ?.ed
