Kevin, your moving along fairly quickly with your rebuild and it's looking good. I like the gold chassis! Keep up the great work.

Glen, thank you for the kind words. Moving along, but wish it was going a little quicker.

Delivered the "2 inch SU" head to engine builder yesterday. He's seen about everything in the twincam world. His comment after looking at it was "this is going to be an interesting build".

For once in my life, I am doing what I want and to hell with what it costs. Total self indulgence. Can't afford to make a habit out of it, but it's pretty dang fun.

Well it's been a while and not a whole bunch of progress to report. The color coat has yet to be sprayed and the motor is not done. Both are getting close though. Finished another guide coat and finish sanding for paint. Engine update "Head is restored
Block is bored, maged, cleaned, and line honed( one cap was not even engaging the bearing).
All parts are here, and good with exception of a couple that are not within standard."

Will update with photos at some point. Dare I hope for spring completion????

That is the kind of engine shop I look for, one that does lots of the same type of engines I want rebuilt. Your getting closer. Summer driving looks possible!

Thanks Glen. I am lucky to be in the Pacific Northwest. We have not one but two Twin Cam shops that are absolutely first rate.

Wow, I like this! Any chance of some 'how it was done' photos?
