nice one William. Im not sure but I belive its a lot easier to fit the windscreen with the dashboard out. I had one fitted last week and he really struggled with the bottom corners behind the dash
all the best

After I broke the windscreen trying to fit it  , I got National Windscreens to fit a new one. Mine is a coupe, but I believe the screen is the same as the drophead. They had no trouble with the job although the interior was completed, dash and all. The two guys did it on a freezing morning in about an hour. No sweat! I had struggled with it for a whole day before it cracked!

William,

Your engine bay looks lovely. What is the item in front of the alternator, looking like a control knob?

Looks like a cooling fan controller with a caprilly tube into the top hose.

Mike you did well to get national windscreens to fit it. I contacted them first they had no clue. With the screen, chrome insert and the chrome frame? they had it priced at over ?8oo and then they said they could not get the screen. I ended up with a local company who ordered me a green tint from Pilkingtons for ?220 fitted

After 2 year restoration my S4 is finally wheeled out and sees the light of day!! All I have to do now is get the engine fired up and then MOT'd.

Stunning!! Is that Regency red?

Looks like you have federal seats with the integrated head rests?

Congratulations, it looks beautiful, now get that MoT & go out for a well rewarded Blat on back roads :D

William, fantastic looking Elan! I like your red color better than my S4 with Porsche Guards Red with Gold bumpers. Nicely done!

Yes it is Regency Red. It always surprises me that more Elans aren't finished in this colour.
Give me a call Gino when you are next over here. Regards, William
