Posted: Sat Feb 21, 2015 6:24 pmhi frank - this is the famous saentis mountain in the canton of appenzell: this is one of the roads which leads to home sweet home - another 4 miles to your right (when facing the mountain which is south+/-). we live in teufen.

Great picture, I am glad to hear that there is plenty of snow about. I will be passing by St Gallen next month on my way to the Vorarlberg, I have always been intrigued by the rack railway that I think goes to Heiden - one day i will have more time to investigate!
