Hi all

We drove our newly restored 1967 Elan S3 SE Coupe 1100km home from Sydney last week, great fun and runs beautifully, we love it. We were Lucky enough to buy it from a member on here too. We also have a 2003 Elise type 25 which we also love.

Hi all thanks for the kind words, all the mechanicals are like the body, superb.
The interior is original and retains all it's patina and charm which we really like. Can't wait to take her for another spin :D

Welcome to the forum, JBEE. I'm about to commence restoration of my red pre-airflow FHC. Your car will be an inspiration.
..
I have a good friend in Tasmania that I haven't seen in many years. I wish he could see your car. He'd love it.

Don't forget to put it in http://www.elanregistry.org - you'll be doubling the Tasmanian Elan population, it seems!

Hi

Roger -Good luck with your restoration, does your friend live in the north or south of Tassie?

Andrew - Tassie is a kind of driving heaven yes :)

Nick - thanks for that link. I will register on there at the weekend .

Jim - Yes we brought her home on the ferry and Sailed with her. Not much of a sailor myself alas :) but at least I can sleep during the journey when get get a night sailing.
Let me know if you are coming over and perhaps we can meet up?

Cheers John
