Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

As you may have read, today I re-acquired my `73 Sprint, it`s lovely, but as it`s not done 15 miles yet in the last 38 years there`s bound to be some niggles. No. 1 is the driver`s door handle was operating the mechanism this morning and isn`t this afternoon. It works inside, it`s not locked, before I start disassembling, am I missing something obvious?

I'm afraid it's likely to be a rod that's come adrift - I had a similar issue after mine had been apart for Painting !!
