Can dashboard crash pads be bought new anywhere?

Wouldn't mind a fibreglass replica but Google has come up with nothing.

Most of the usual Lotus suppliers stock ABS ones (without the foam filling) - I guess your problem will be shipping due to the delicate nature it will need to be packed very well

You may not like the look & feel of the ABS pad & I would guess the glass fibre one also. I bought an ABS one to replace the original on my S4 & did not like it. It is hard & shiny, the original dash was foam covered in Vinyl & had a slight soft touch to it. I ended up installing the ABS pad & then having it covered with a thin layer of softer foam & vinyl, It looks & feels very close to the original.

Hi Keith.

I understand what you mean but this is for a rally car. I plan to block the vent and flock the entire thing anyway. The dash face itself is going to be thin plywood with aluminium laminated over it and crinkle-coated black with a very different gauge layout and co-driver tripmeter, lamps etc..

I'm in Barbados. Bits of the car are here, bits I recently bought to rebuild it as an S2 26R rally car are in Wales.
