Have you gone higher with your elan?

I think quite a few will have been over the Col d`Iseran which is slightly more. Stelvio and the obvious Austrian ones are less as is the St Bernard.

The very top is at 2860 m, so higher than stelvio. Sadly, because of this snow wall blocking the road, only pedestrian and fanatic cyclist, could climb till the peak. I had to stop my elan there.

2758 for the stelvio pass
2770 for iseran pass

My water temp was at 100c all way long.

Luckily i managed to keep sufficient speed to bring enough wind in my s4 rad.

I am afraid at regularity speed during a rally (max 50 kph) the engine will overheat... I have to improve the cooling for the jean behra historic! (September)

The sustained speed helped airflow but also water pump pulley speed.

Same road in early september with still the heat from august at regularity speed in a 8% hill will be a real challenge.
